New Coordinate Measuring Machine Expands Capabilities

Nolte is pleased to announce our latest investment in maintaining the most advanced technology for precision machining, a Brown & Sharpe Global Performance Silver Edition 5.5.5 Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). This high performance coordinate measuring machine is equipped with an advanced multi-sensor compatible controller, and features a unique Tricision™ Bridge as well as patented dovetail guideway to provide optimum stiffness for very precise measurements. According to Nolte owner and president, Doug Coster, the acquisition is “another investment in advancing our quality and measurement capabilities.”

This new CMM will allow Nolte to expand capabilities for high tolerance parts and more sophisticated measurement tasks. As our capacity to produce high volumes of precision turned parts continues to expand, the new CMM will allow our manufacturing to keep pace with the increased need for accuracy in measurement technology, including the speed of measurement cycles, the ability to check parts with greater accuracy, and the ability to precisely measure geometric features.

Each investment we make in technologically advanced systems and equipment reflects our commitment to providing the best possible services to our customers. Striving to be on the leading edge of innovation, we integrate the most efficient business practices and employment of the latest technology and equipment. Our ever-expanding equipment list and capability allow us to fulfill our commitment to meeting our customers’ evolving needs, and to be a partner in providing a total cost solution to all parts needs and supply chain requirements.
